REST API

The Rest API lets you build apps and integrations using results data.

While similar in structure to 2.0 there are a few notable changes

• Token Based Authentication

• Rollup of county and vcu granularity (you no longer need to make a separate call for town-level data for town states, it will now roll up under the county automatically)

• state_id changed to state_fips (now provides accurate state FIPS code rather than arbitrary DDHQ state ID)

• state changed to state_name

• abb changed to state (to match the query variable)

• called removed in favor of called_candidates

• called_time removed in favor of call_times
